 A nossa existência começou há muitos mil milhões de anos, quando uma pequena bola de fogo surgiu do nada e daí tudo se originou, desde a mais majestosa nebulosa até ao mais ínfimo animal. Somos todos criados a partir dessa grande unidade. Agimos como se pudéssemos viver separados dessa circunstância, no entanto, obtemos o retorno desse processo. O aquecimento global é um retorno muito desagradável. É facto que ao libertar carbono e destruir florestas valiosas, estamos a causar o aquecimento dos oceanos e da atmosfera da Terra.

Sometimes life sends fires raging through our lives, too.

Those fires are also part of the natural cycle of things.

Life, nature, or our Higher Power says it’s time to start over, again.

Use misfortune as an opportunity.

Who knows?

That fire rampaging through your life just might clear away the brush of the past.

Keep your heart open and stay aware.

You might learn something new and previously undiscovered about yourself

Todos nós sabemos que devemos reciclar, mas mesmo os recicladores comprometidos podem ser erráticos, limpar e separar garrafas em um dia e colocar no lixo no dia seguinte.  Porquê?  Acontece que uma série de factores influencia as nossas decisões sobre o que colocar ou não na lixeira verde. É de considerar que dois desses factores surgiram em pesquisas recentemente realizadas sobre os hábitos de descarte.  Foi descoberto primeiro, que as pessoas têm mais probabilidade de reciclar itens que não foram distorcidos, como latas de refrigerante e papel que não foi rasgado em pedaços e que se denomina por " factor de distorção".

Os resultados de vários estudos demonstram que a decisão do consumidor de reciclar um produto ou colocá-lo no lixo pode ser determinada pela medida em que o produto foi distorcido durante o processo de consumo. Especificamente, se o processo de consumo distorce um produto suficientemente da sua forma original ou seja, mudanças no tamanho ou na forma, os consumidores percebem como menos útil e, por sua vez, são mais propensos a colocá-los no lixo, ao invés de os reciclar.

Success rains down for no apparent reason.

Tragedy strikes like a freight train.

We’re left to deal with the results.

We can allow our egos to swell over our sudden good fortune, or we can humbly accept the fruit of our labor and continue to better ourselves.

We can lie down and give up after a tragedy, or we can grieve, get up, and begin taking steps to move on with our lives.

Look at the situations in your life. Have you been given success? Are you learning the lessons of loss?

Perhaps yours is the gift of the ordinary. Don’t walk too boastfully through your successes, nor remain too long in your grief. And don’t sleep through ordinary life. You’ll lose your sense of wonder and awe, and when it ends, you won’t know where you’ve been.

We cannot always control what will happen to us.

We need to let go of any false thoughts that we can.

We can choose how we’ll handle the situation just like we choose how we’ll pick up a knife-by grabbing the handle or the blade.

Watch out for the cutting edge.

What you do with what you have been given is important.
